Role Overview

As the Web3 Growth Hacker, you will ideate and execute hyper-targeted campaigns focused on customer acquisition, retention, and engagement for Fluence. Your primary focus will be to increase the number of token holders, attract and retain a sustainable base of stakers, and maximize customer acquisition for our decentralized compute platform. This role requires a strong grasp of token-based marketing tactics, growth hacking strategies for Web3, and hands-on experience with airdrops, quests, NFTs, and platform integrations. You’ll also proactively identify new growth opportunities through partnerships, Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), and community-driven initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Campaign Ideation & Execution

  • Develop and execute hyper-targeted campaigns that drive token holder growth, attract stakers, and boost user adoption of the compute platform.
  • Design and deploy creative token-based initiatives such as airdrops, NFT incentives, and quests, using on-chain and off-chain channels to maximize campaign reach and effectiveness.
  • Coordinate with product, marketing, and community teams to ensure campaigns align with overall growth goals and brand messaging.

Community Engagement & Retention

  • Design and implement retention strategies to keep stakers and token holders engaged over time, including staking rewards, quests, gamification, and loyalty incentives.
  • Leverage community channels, KOLs, and partnerships to amplify messaging and build brand credibility across key Web3 and crypto platforms.
  • Work closely with community managers to ensure cohesive messaging and engagement across Discord, Telegram, Twitter, and other social platforms.

Customer Acquisition & Growth Optimization

  • Identify and test new channels, partnerships, and distribution methods to expand the user base for Fluence’s compute platform.
  • Utilize data-driven insights to iterate on campaign effectiveness, identifying and scaling high-performing tactics while pivoting away from underperforming ones.
  • Implement tracking mechanisms to measure and report on key metrics, such as customer acquisition cost (CAC), conversion rates, and token holder growth.

Technical Execution of Web3 Growth Tactics

  • Launch and manage airdrops, NFTs, staking incentives, and complex quest structures to increase user acquisition and retention.
  • Ensure technical precision in campaign deployment, including token distribution, wallet connections, and tracking for a smooth and effective user experience.
  • Troubleshoot and address any technical issues during campaigns to minimize disruptions and ensure a seamless experience for users.
  • Implement measures to prevent, identify, and remedy against any potential fraudulent behavior by campaign participants.

Market Insights & Opportunity Identification

  • Stay updated on market trends, competitor activities, and emerging tools within the DePIN and Web3 spaces to identify new growth opportunities.
  • Analyze data and feedback from community channels to inform future campaigns and improve user acquisition strategies.
  • Proactively develop relationships with KOLs, partners, and key platforms to amplify campaign reach and foster a positive brand presence in the decentralized ecosystem.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Computer Science, or a related field; advanced degree a plus.
  • 3+ years of experience in growth marketing, digital marketing, or similar roles within Web3, blockchain, or decentralized tech environments.
  • Proven track record of executing token-based campaigns, airdrops, NFT campaigns, and community-driven growth tactics that deliver measurable results.
  • Strong technical skills with experience in managing wallet integrations, on-chain analytics, and campaign setup for decentralized growth initiatives.
  • Deep understanding of Web3 community channels, KOLs, quest platforms, and social dynamics in the crypto ecosystem.
  • Proficiency in using analytics tools, data dashboards, and growth tracking software to drive optimization.
  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to balance creative ideation and technical execution.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with DePIN or decentralized infrastructure projects.
  • Established network within the Web3, blockchain, and crypto community.
  • Knowledge of tokenomics, gamification, and community engagement tactics specific to Web3.
